Description: This is an exquisite custom re-handled Boker Solingen Germany congress knife! It has been professionally re-handled in dendritic jasper (real stone) that gives it a beautiful and exotic look. The patterns & colors of stone look amazing on here! Note on the handles: Jasper stone is a very hard stone material at 7 on the Mohs scale which is equivalent to the hardness of steel, so these handles won't easily chip or scratch. Also stone shares a comparable expansion rate to that of brass or steel, so you won't later have gapping or cracking issues common with typical handle materials. They have been professionally handcrafted and installed (small shop operation in the USA) using a proprietary anchor bond matrix system which creates a dual-surface bond between the stone and the metal providing unmatched durability. In excellent condition! Blades have original factory edge, good snap and no wobble. Stepped nickel silver bolsters show no damage and look great. The stone handles have excellent fit and high polish finish, with no damage, chips or cracks. Note as with any natural material the stone handles will have differences side to side. Please see photos. This magnificent one-of-a-kind knife, offering both beauty and performance, would be a great addition to any knife collection! Please visit our store to see our numerous other vintage & custom collectible knives!
