Description: Boeing 737 (Style) Wet Compass. This listing is for a single Boeing 737 (style) Wet Compass, designed for flight simulation and Cockpit Builders. This item is made in the UK by Sim Wales and is in stock ready for shipping. It a fully working unit that is driven by a stepper motor. It comes complete with a stepper interface card, but need a software product like MobiFlight, SimVim or ProSim to make it fully operational. A set of fully illustrated set-up and operating instructions will be included in the box, this is mainly based on the freeware MobiFlight software using FSX, P3D or FS2020. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a USB device, you will need an interface card to use it. If you need any more information please ask before buying!!! As shown above it is adjustable to provide the best angle for viewing, it is also backlit for those night flights. The on board switch provides a dimming facility, the backlight can be dimmed or switched off if it's distracting. The text on the upper panel is laser engraved, not just a printed sticker as you'll see on some products. The unit requires both a 12 volt and separate 5 volt power sources. Since I put this item up for sale I was asked if it would work with X-Plane and particularly the Zibo 737. So I installed the Zibo and using the combination of MobiFlight and XPUIPC it works perfectly. FInal Note:To be perfectly clear this is not a real Boeing part, and is not suitable for use in any real world aircraft.
