Description: Pentax K1000 from 1970s. This camera has only ever been in one family. It's been lovingly carried and used through the USA, Mexico, UK, and Italy. It's maintained impeccable functionality with only ever one need for a repair, when the camera was dropped and the viewfinder casing became dented. It was repaired by a professional camera shop in New York City (sorry, I forgot the name of the shop; this was about 10 years ago). You can see minor visual evidence of this repair in the photo if you really want to see it, but you may not know it were there otherwise. It works perfectly. The functionality of the camera is complete and perfect. Those classic Pentax mechanisms can survive many wars, as you probably know if you're reading this. THE CAMERA IS MISSING A LENS CAP. A clear glass filter is protecting the lens. The outside leather case was a replacement from the original, and it doesn't quite snap on fully. You can see this in one of the photos. But, the case fits the camera, and protects it pretty well despite this. The camera has a stylish wide adjustable strap added on.
