Antique ZS Bavaria 9 5/8” GEORGE & MARTHA WASHINGTON Porcelain Cabinet Plates EX

Description: Antique ZS & Co Bavaria George & Martha Washington Collector Cabinet or Wall Display Plates. Each plate measures 9 5/8” in diameter. Both plates have a beautiful brightly colored floral band around the edge of the plate. I’m uncertain if the portraits were hand painted or if a transfer was used, but both portraits are highly detailed and look stunning! The back of Martha’s plate has two holes drilled for wall hanging, while George’s plate has no holes in the back. George’s plate does have a small chip to the inner side of the back ring on the plate, please see the pictures for details. ZS & Co Bavaria green back stamp dates these plates between 1880-1918. Stunning LARGE historical collector plates! In excellent condition with no chips or flakes, except noted above on the back of George’s plate.
