Description: WOW! This 1800's candle-lit lantern is really cool. This vintage tin lantern is 14" tall to the top of the extended handle and about 7" wide and 5" deep. It is 9.25" to the top of the glass insert. There is a 2.75 diameter X 2" high 'chimney' on top, which has been 'burned through' a bit in the center due to the heat over the years. I believe that the glass in the door is original, chipped edges and all, and the locking 'slide' still works to hold the door closed. In its original condition with an old beeswax candle still in it. In the beautiful condition shown with no damage that I can find beyond expected wear. Your satisfaction is guaranteed in any case since if you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason within two weeks of delivery, I will refund the initial shipping fee and also pay the return shipping cost for a truly risk-free purchase. SORRY, NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING DUE TO PREVIOUS LOSSES.
