Professionally restored to look as old as it is, this school desk came to us in sound condition but was badly in need of refinishing from carved in initials on top of the desk arm to it's very rough finish, crayon marks and pencil happy faces. The outcome is a desk of the ages brought back to life in order to make a wonderful statement piece as a writing desk, phone desk etc. cast iron frame and wood seat and backrest provide a sturdy and comfortable place to sit. The desk is a folding desk one the desk top is removed from the chair with five screws, making it easy to store away when not in use. The desk chair is in a rectangular shape and has a width of 24 inches, a height of 30 inches, depth of 24". It is made by the Buffalo Hardware Co. and has a matte old english finish. The item weighs 35 pounds and does require partial assembly of the desk top by merely five screws and a few minutes of your time..
