Description: Lodge antique sales sample or some use them as ash trays. Older per Made in before USA marked antique with casting scar. Lodge was operated from the late 1800s in the state of Tennessee and still thriving today. Highly collectable marked rare sales sample pan. Exact age is unknown, but as noted is does have the antique casting scar and is predate the Made In mark law before USA. 6" long, it is an early piece of cast iron in good antique condition, 4 5/8" across the spots, 3 3/4" across the rim not including spouts, 1" tall. About one pound in weight. Rare collectable that has been thoroughly cleaned of rust and seasoned as all cast iron should be. Lodge is known for their quality cast iron cookware then and now.
