Description: Thank you for viewing this beautiful antique Edwardian 1900's diamond and emerald moi et toi gold ring. The ring has an unusual slightly curved design rather that a straight north south look. The ring contains one Old European cut diamond weighing approximately 1/3 of a carat. The diamond is approximately K color and VS clarity. There are an additional 17 diamonds weighting approximately .15 carats. There is a genuine emerald measuring approximately 4.2mm. The ring size is 8.25. The weight of the ring is 2.7 grams. The rings shank tests with acid as 14k. However often times antique rings were repaired or sized. This could alter the gold content to perhaps 13k or 15k. It's believed the top portion of the ring that is white is platinum although that is an educated conclusion not to be taken as fact. If it is platinum it's most likely 900 purity. Please expect wear on metal and stone surfaces consistent with the age of the ring. The ring comes with an attractive gift box.
