Description: This beautifully handpainted (gold on black) jewel casket or tea caddy is a wonderful presence and look, being practical for many different uses. Most recently it was on my desk filled with multiple rolls of postage stamps that we no longer seem to need in these days of electronic processing. The painted design displays beautifully rendered swags, bows, and a central theme of bows encircles by flowers and leafy vines. It would make a lovely addition to any collection.
