Antique 18th Century Primitive Shepherds Chest Hand Made Folk Art Wood Trunk

Please compare all 4 methods available under the shipping tab. Up for your consideration is a fabulous 1700s antique hand made primitive wood trunk. This style of trunk is often called a Shepherds chest. The condition is very good for its age and use. There are minor chips, scratches, dings and dents, cracks, small old worm holes. There has been minor deterioration on the bottom of a couple feet. The entire pice is constructed with pegs. Overall this is an amazing piece. This box has no nails it is constructed with pegs, there are couple nails in areas probably to firm up a loose board but no nails used in original build, it is all pegs. Each board appears to have been formed with a draw knife or something similar. There are folk art designs as decorative features. The interior is in good shape. This box came out of Europe, likely somewhere around the area of Romania. This would be a phenomenal box for storage, or re purposed into a table. These beautiful primitives are getting harder and harder find, don't miss out on this one. Please ask questions if you have them. I have a lot more pictures available. All of these things added together is what makes these vintage pieces so attractive to us.
