These headers have been discontinued by Edelbrock for many years and are impossible to find in any condition, let alone brand new in box. Due to the AIR injection system, these are the only CARB/California approved headers ever available for the AMC/Jeep V8 engines. Smog legal in all 50 states including California. They are direct replacement for most of the original exhaust manifolds on the AMC V8 engines from 1971-1991. Price reflects the fact that if you are looking for a brand new smog legal set of headers for your AMC/Jeep V8, this is essentially all that is available anywhere. It’s unlikely another manufacturer will release a CARB approved system ever again for AMC applications. Bolt on your Jeep/AMC V8 and still pass CA/NY/CARB smog tests legally. If not needed, the AIR injection tubes are easily removed and welded/plugged. I was hoping to use on my small body AMC, but due to space issues, they are up for sale. All original hardware/gaskets/etc still sealed in original blister packaging. Installation manual included. CARB ID tag is affixed to the manifolds permanently for easy smog test reference and the number is still fully valid in the air resources board database.
