I always had this Kindle in a combo case/stand, so the design of that case can be seen along the back where it was worn in different places over time.Boot-up and response time are excellent! Battery life is also still very good. I've tested a few things, and reset this Kindle back to factory settings.This Kindle is so old that I think Amazon has discontinued some of the servers for features on this tablet (like downloading certain apps, and accessing certain options). But if you buy digital books on Amazon, this tablet will still link to your Amazon account and sync those books into its storage! You can also import your own videos onto this tablet from your computer, which is great to have something to watch on plane and car rides (which is primarily what I used this tablet for).
