A Used Unmatched Set of 3 Thru 9 Wilson 1200 LT Irons!

Description: A Used Unmatched Set of 3 to 8 Wilson 1200 LT Irons! This is an unmatched irons because I bought like that. Back in the mid 80's I was hot to buy a set of the Arnold Palmer Standard Irons but I didn't know if I could hit the smallish club heads, so I got this Unmatched set piecemeal to try them out without having to spend a lot more money. There used to be a Golf Shop right in the heart of downtown Los Angles, CA, and as far as I can remember, that was the name. "The Golf Shop!" If you needed to find an odd club to make up your set because you lost one, and you took the time to search through about 50 55 Gallon Fibre barrels, you'd most likely find it. The Clubs have different Grip and Shafts, but the Club Heads are all the same, and that was what I wanted to test. The Clubs heads are fairly clean, and all are cavity back. Each has 2 Tungsten weights on the Sole and another weight out towards the toe on the rear of the Club Head. I'm guessing that the weights were to give the Club Heads a lower center of gravity, and to put a little draw in your shots. Some of the Clubs are Regular flex and some are Stiff. The Clubs have 2 different Registration Numbers on the shafts, and there are two different grips. One grip is a Wilson Chevron Grip and the other is a Lamkin Grip that is shaped like a hammer handle. Hey these clubs were introduced in 1978, so you can imagine the grips are pretty hard by now. But if you are looking to get a youngster interested in golf, this Unmatched set might be just the thing. Don't give him lessons, just have him watch other golfers swing, and he'll be imitating them soon. Tha is how my Dad got me into playing.
