Printed on the back: A Camera in the Gold Rush, the tenth of the Club’s keepsake series, will consist of twelve reproductions of Far Western scenes by California’s pioneer photographer, Robert H. Vance, together with a photograph of Vance and his staff. The photographs, reproduced in collotype by the Meriden Gravure Company, are from originals owned by Flodden W. Heron. The series, edited by Edith M. Coulter and Jeanne Van Nostrand, has been designed and printed by Taylor and Taylor, San Francisco, and will be limited to six hundred sets.
