80’s Made In Germany Original Non Fine Tuner Floyd Rose Tremolo Bridge Chrome

Description: PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION FOR CONDITION, SHIPPING, & OTHER INFORMATION. Up for sale is this an Authentic Original 1980’s “Made In Germany “ Non Fine Tuner Floyd Rose tremolo bridge pulled from a very early 80’s Kramer guitar. This bridge is in great condition for its age. All screws turn and no stripped threads. All locking blocks are free moving. No seized parts on this one. This bridge is a work horse and a real piece of guitar history as well as Floyd Rose history. This bridge looks pretty much new from the saddles, saddle locking blocks, and all bolts & screws to the base plate and tremolo block. Please take a look at the pictures provided and judge for yourself. The chrome on base plate around the logo has some tiny, tiny pit marks which are visible in the pics provided. The chrome is still very much good on this bridge. This is common on a 40 + year old chrome plated steel bridge. All in all this bridge is in great condition for being over 40 years old. There are no markings on the tremolo block. No patent numbers, etc. this is a sign this is one of the very first production run of these Non Fine Tuner bridges. Made before 1984. This was the first German production of these Non Fine Tuner Bridges but Floyd Rose had redesigned the tremolo once more, based on some recommendations from Edward Van Halen, to make it possible to fine tune the system after the nut was locked. So these bridges were scrapped and the now infamous whale tale bridge was born. Since these were already made Kramer decided to put these on the Focus series guitars and then the Striker series guitars. The Focus series guitars quickly got the new whale tale version which left these non fine tuner bridges being put on the Striker series guitars until they were out of them which at that point the Floyd Rose 2 was introduced to take the place of the non fine tuner Floyd. This is a really solid bridge and is still use by many to this day. So much so that Floyd Rose put it back into production. However the new non fine tuner Floyd Rose bridges are made in Korea not Germany. The original quality build of this bridge is amazing. This is a real survivor and in excellent condition considering how old this bridge is. The trem arm may or may not be original. Please review all pics as they are part of the description.
