(8) Tumblers, Challinor & Taylor EAPG c.1890 Scroll embossed white milk glass

Description: This is for a Set of (8) Tumblers / glasses. see all pictures.measures: 4" tall by 2-7/8" wide top rim. These are thick Opaque white glass with a pattern called "Scroll" which has raised scrolling all the way around. They were made c.1890's by Challinor & Taylor glass co. They are very hard to find. Condition: This is antique glassware over 130 years old. That being said they are good for their age having no top rim chips and no "cracks".. But this type of glass is known for having manufacturing flaws, mold lines around the bottom, uneven rims or uneven coloring due to how they were primitively made back then. I see a couple of dark spots inside indents and in the molding stress lines around the bottom on a few. But none of the molding lines on bottom are seen on the inside of the glasses- they are not cracks. There is also a few indents on the bottoms of a few that may be cooling bubbles or possibly old fleabites from sitting on surfaces. These imperfections are inherited by production and not considered damage. However Any large imperfections that look real bad will be noted as major defects of course, but minor imperfections that often occur such as: color variations, creases/lines from molds, tiny air bubbles or small debris encased in glass is natural as not going to be scrutinized or considered damage. This is for 2 reasons- We sell antiques / vintage goods, therefore they are used, I provide photos of the exact items and not stock pictures so you can always see the exact item you will get.
