Description: 19X405 up for sale is a lot of 5 vintage cord strain relief springs , new old stock , these can be used on many vintage electrical appliences and other electrical corded items , these were made for vintage timing lights used in automotive work , see photos this show a example of what type of light these were used on , one end would get trapped in the plastic two piece housing and the other end holds the supports the cord where it comes out of the unit , can be used for many old electrical uses , these measure on both ends 0.678 just over 5/8 the center area is tapered down to 1/2 inches in the lowest area , total lentgh is just under 2 1/4 long the inner diameter is about 7/16 thru ,this squizes down to 1 3/8 when compressed , wire size is 0.043 diameter , nice springs these appear to be nickle plated steel ,
