Description: Hello and Welcome to the Textile Trunk! Please follow us on Instagram! We are @textiletrunk This wonderful fabric is French and dates from the late 1700's, my guess is that it was printed in Mulhouse ~ it's a magnificent arborescent pattern, some of the most vibrant colors I've ever seen in these late 18th fabrics! I've also never seen this pattern before. The surface has a light glaze, chintz. I can't find this pattern documented! I love the little piece of ticking still attached to the bottom ~ medium weight cotton ~ 100% hand block printed ~ Very special piece !! Both selvages are present ! MEASUREMENTS: This gorgeous fabric measures 43 inches by 32 inches CONDITION : This fabric is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. This fabric has signs of time and use, however....for these 18th century fabric pieces it's in good condition ! There are rows of small holes near the bottom. There are a few very small holes. The fabric is very sturdy however! There are some age marks ~ Signs of time and use are often inherent in these magical antique fabrics! We are so fortunate to be able to see them ~*~ Inventory : EFF 103
