Description: The book of memoirs of the outstanding figure of the OUN Mykola Klymyshyn (1909-2003), which was first published in 1975 in the USA. "In my life, I had the good fortune to cooperate with prominent figures of the underground struggle of the OUN. They died and did not leave behind notes from which it would be possible to learn about them and their work. I had many opportunities to die, but for some reason everything passed happily, and it seems to me that I have a duty in relation to my murdered friends to write about them everything that I remember, thinking that maybe this is exactly what the merciful God preserved me for." - this is how Klymyshyn explains the purpose of this work. In the book, the reader will get to know the figures of Yevhen Konovalts, Stepan Bandera, Mykola Lemyk, Stepan Lenkavskyi and other lesser-known, but no less heroic fighters for the independence of Ukraine. Since Klymyshyn held leadership positions in the Organization, he considered it his duty to describe in detail the internal order, ideological content, the true circumstances of the conflicts, as well as the motives and conditions for making some decisions of the OUN Branch. The memoirs are presented in chronological order in two volumes: the processes of the 1930s, the split of the OUN, the groups that branched out to the East, and many other events that the author was a witness and participant of.
