The watch is an L-Serial, which dates the watch to 1989, the first year of production of the Ref 16570. Condition is good for its age. Minor scratches visible that are consistent with 30+ years of careful wear. The bracelet is in good condition with minimar stretch. Case and bracelet both retain the original factory finish-- case has prominent chamfers and the clasp exhibits a bold coronet. Hands and dial original to the watch and the tritium lume has developed a nice patina. The watch was just serviced in Sept 2024 and keeps great time. This is an honest, well-loved and cared for example from Rolex's excellent neo-vintage era, with box papers and trimmings, that would serve as a great daily GADA (go anywhere do anything) watch or investment piece!
