Description: Lincoln has a loose L stamped into his eye upside down! 😳 The L in Liberty is on the rim, as well. I saw this in the “give a penny/take a penny” tray at the head shop and I still need to go put another penny back, I guess. Lol! YOINK! 😹 Then I saw all the errors once I magnified it and I was like, “Holy Combo Coin, Batman!”. If you look closely, there are re-punch mark letters all over it, especially all over Lincoln‘s face. I thought they were scratches when I first looked at it, but most of those are letter edges from previous strikes. Quite the combo of errors all in all. I saw, some of these errors individually on other posted coins that I looked up, but none having this combination, which might mean this penny is completely unique. I would guess it would grade somewhere in the mint state sixty three to sixty four range. I’m considering getting it professionally graded, which might add a significant value, and maybe even make numismatic history, but I guess I’ll try to sell it as is, and hope somebody sees what an opportunity this is. It’s tempting to just keep it, now that I stated so…🤔 😜
