Vinyl coated on the outside...which is in very good condition.It does not look to have ever been used...however, after 25 years in storage, the paper items on the inside have some discoloration. There are several tabs on the inside with each tab having an envelope where you can put clipped recipes. There is also paper in the back (pretty discolored) that can easily be replaced with new paper from your local office supply. Great overall color scheme and design....a definite throwback to the 1970's kitchen!Overall size is 9" tall x 7" wide x 1.75" deep.
