Description: I have here for sale a book entitled PALESTINE GUIDE General survey by Dr. A. Bonne and published by Steimatzky publishing co., 1941. First Edition. With 64 illustrations, maps, and plans, including a Map of Palestine and Adjacent Countries, a Plan of Bethlehem, a Map of Jerusalem - Bethlehem - Hebron Road, The Dead Sea, Tel Aviv and its Environs, and a Plan of Nazareth. As well as 2 large maps in a pocket at the end of the book depicting Jerusalem, with a Index on the reverse, and a Map of Old City Jerusalem. This book is split into 3 Parts, Part 1 discusses a general survey of Palestine and its climate, population, government, and economics, Part 2 is a travel guide discussing routes to Palestine from Egypt and Routes in Palestine, and Part 3 is Practical hints for travel in Palestine printed on orange paper. Bound in red limp hardboards with gilt lettering to front board and spine. Bumped to head and tail of spine. Boards firm and binding tight. Pages clean. A third map entitled 'Palestine General Map', which should also be included in the rear pocket, is absent. This book is in very good overall condition. 480 pages (128 pages in part 1, and 352 in parts 2 & 3). 17 x 12 cm.
