Description: This is an original "Official Program of the 22nd Annual National Convention of the American Legion". It is dated September 23-26, 1940 and was held in Boston, Massachusetts. It is a stapled booklet measuring 6x9" with 48 pages that show tanning due to age. There are some age spots inside as well. The cover has bright color with dirt (front and back), ink smudges on the right side (front), writing on the top left corner (front), and edge/corner wear. The last page has a torn corner. The staples are rusted but still holding tight. There are many b/w photos inside of auxiliary members, officers, sites in Boston, and other important people.
