The binding is not cracked. The book was made so the owner would put pictures or stickers on the pages depicting the topics of the pages. All the pictures are still glued to the pages. The original paper dust jacket is in bad shape. I have what is left of it, which is most of the front cover. The entire book is written in German. I got this book from my Uncle when he passed. I do not know where is got it as he would have been only 11 at the time. He may have gotten it in Germany when he was in WWII.
