Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Token or charm struck as a souvenir for the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition at St. Louis, MO. Electricity Building, struck in Aluminum, Choice Uncirculated certified NGC MS-64PL, Top Pop. Unlisted in the Hendershott reference, similar to various similar sized pieces listed between 61-490 and 61-640. A number of similar 16mm "Palace" charms were struck showing various buildings, in Aluminum, Brass/Bronze, Copper and possibly other compositions, many of which are not catalogued. Following the logic used in Hendershott, you could call this "H-61-660". This particular design shows one example at NGC in Copper (MS-61), plus one in Aluminum at MS-61, shown at the very bottom of the NGC token Census. Out of a very old World's Fair collection, where it was hiding for 50 years or more.
