Description: Hello and welcome to this unusual die cut postcard from the publisher A. Sala of Berline SW. It is an undivided postcard with a cancellation dating 1903. The cancellation is from the city of Hamburg, Germany. The card is of a portly man bearing a large bouquet of flowers. His right arm is die cut so that it lifts out from the face of the card. This is most likely to be able to tuck and additional card or object into. The card has an inked message written in English that is a Birthday greeting and an invitation to visit. There is a small 5/8" rip in the upper right corner, a missing corner, another small side rip on the right hand side, soiling, fading, and rounded corners. The arm that raises beyond the face of the page has been taped at its joint.
