18th Century American Iron Hilt Hanger Saber Sword with Scabbard

Description: This listing is for an 18th Century American Iron Hilt Hanger Saber Sword. From the original dealer with regard to this specific weapon: "This is a nice early American Iron Hilt Saber/ Hanger. My father bought this piece in Boston, MA sometime in the late 1960s. This sword was made during the last quarter of the 18th century. The iron hilts are very rare because many did not survive from this period. I could not find a maker but I have never cleaned this sword either it has allot of dark patina from age to it. I don't think it was ever cleaned. The grip is tight to the hilt as is the blade. This is a nice original unmodified early American sword." Please look at the photos and judge the condition of the sword for yourself.
