In good condition, with superficial rubbing and wear along edges and corners. Minor wear and cracking to hinges at front and rear. Some splitting to leather between front board and spine, along with light cracking and looseness at bottom of front board. Text block remains bound well. Light markings and marginalia, along with periodic foxing and wear. Nicely illustrated with dozens of black-and-white plates and illustrations throughout, with loss of some tissue guards. Additionally includes two engraved maps. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing.
