It will come in an acrylic display case. Here is a very excellent polished thin slice of the stony iron meteorite called Sericho Pallasite Meteorite. From Habaswein, Sericho, Kenya, Africa. This specimen measures about 1.65” by 0.7”, and it is about 0.05” thick. It weighs about 3.2 grams. Found in 2016, the thin slicing allows for the Olivine (peridot) to appear be viewed when a good flashlight is placed behind it, facing forwards towards you (backlit). The first photo has a light on behind it. The olivine is surrounded by a matrix of iron and nickel. Fewer than 100 Pallasite Meteorites have been recorded. We invite you to visit our store.
