I made this necklace from hand-cut emerald beads from an Antique beaded necklace. The emeralds are lovely- glowing with vibrant, juicy rich color. This exceptional necklace features five large oval faceted emeralds. The emeralds are spaced evenly along the front of a 14k gold chain. The largest bead is placed at the center of the chain. This type of beaded necklace is called a station chain or "by the yard" style necklace. This style is particularly flattering because it creates a wreath of gems that curves around your neck. The emeralds are semi-translucent, and have a wonderful vibrant glow in the sunlight. Each emerald has an imperfect hand-cut, and a "garden" of natural inclusions. (see magnified photos.)
