It will come in an acrylic display case.Here is a very excellent polished thin slice of the stony iron meteorite called Sericho Pallasite Meteorite. From Habaswein, Sericho, Kenya, Africa. This specimen measures about 1.25” by 0.95”, and it is about 0.05” thick. It weighs about 2.8 grams. These were first gathered in 2016. The thin slicing allows for the translucence of the Olivine (peridot) to appear when a good flashlight is placed behind it, facing forwards (backlit). The first photo is done this way: there is a bright light behind the slice, shining through it, revealing the olivine.The first photo is done using a backlight behind the specimen.The olivine is surrounded by a matrix of iron and nickel.
