This was the first year of production for the extremely popular Silver American Eagle. I purchased these coins in 1986 and have kept them in storage ever since! The coins are in outstanding condition showing virtually no marks or toning. Please note that the lighting used for my photography makes some of the coins appear slightly gold toned. It is just due to the lighting. None of these coins are toned. They all exhibit the full original mint luster. They are very well preserved!!! The coins come in a special storage holder (shown in the photos) that keep them separated and doesn't allow them to touch or rub together.
